Therefore, get rid of all moral filth
and the evil that is so prevalent
and humbly accept the word
planted in you,
which can save you."
Challenge yourself
Put a mental stopwatch
on your conversations
and keep track of
how much you talk &
how much you listen.
Be a good listener,
control your tongue,
and abstain from foul speech.
James advises us to get rid of ALL
that is morally wrong in our lives
and with humility accept the salvation message
which we have received through the Word.
That is why it is of utmost importance
to continue to
open the bible and receive the Word,
and encourage others to do the same.
