Paul wrote (about 55 AD) a strong, straight forward letter to the church in Corinth to offer solutions to their identity problem. He wanted to instruct the believers how to live for Christ in a corrupt society. Corinth was a major cosmopolitan city, filled with idolatry and immorality. Paul delicately deals with some sensitive issues in the church, like jealousy, pride, division, sexual immorality and failure to discipline members.
That's AMAZING! It seems he writing directly to us today! Styles change, but God's word remains relevant throughtout the generations.
