Zechariah 6

8th & final vision

Zechariah sees a vision of four hourses and chariots. The horses represent God's judgment on the world - one is sent north, the direction from which most of Judah's enemies came. The other horses are patrolling the world, ready to execute judgment at God's command.

v. 15
"Those who are far away will come and help to build the temple of the Lord, and you will know that the Lord Almighty has sent me to you. This will happen if you diligently obey the Lord your God."

Some of God's promises are conditional -
we must obey him to receive them.
Casual or occasional obedience,
the result of a halfhearted commitment
is not what God desires for us.
Ephesians 6:7 says,
"serve WHOLE HEARTEDLY
as if serving the Lord not men,
for you know the Lord will reward
everyone for whatever good he does."
