1 Corinthians 12:12-13

"The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ, for we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body - whether Jews or Greeks, slave or free -- and we were all given the one spirit to drink."

One in Christ

The church is composed of many types of people from a variety of backgorunds with a multitude of gifts and abilities. It is easy for these differences to divide people. BUT... we all have one thing in common, our faith in Christ. Therefore to forgive, as Christ would forgive in those time of differences is a better way to overcome divisions in the church.

All believers are baptized by one Holy Spirit into one body of believers, the church. We don't lose our individual identies, but we also have a oneness in Christ.
