Galations 5:13-15

"You, my brothers, and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature; rather, serve one another in love. The entire law is summed up in a single command: "Love your neighbor as yourself." If you keep on biting and devouring each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other."

*********************************

When we are not motivated by love, we become critical of others. We stop looking for good in them and see only their faults. Soon the unity of believers is broken.

Have we talked behind some one's back? Have we focused on others' shortcomings instead of their strengths?

When we begin to feel critical of someone, make a list of that person's positive qualities. If there are issues that need to be addressed, it is better to confront in love than to go behind their back and gossip.
