That is a hard one to understand when you heart is broken, or bleeding. God has promised a home for his faithful children in eternity, reunited with our loved ones who have gone on before us. Hang in there family-in-Christ, the BEST is yet to come.
Consider it pure joy when you face trials of many kinds knowing that the testing of your faith will make you mature and complete. Read James Ch 1, blessed is the man who perseveres under trial for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life that God promises to those who love him.
