Memorial Day

Please join me in prayer,

Praise be to you Almighty and Eternal Father for all your creation. We are most thankful for the time when we live at peace in our home, in our community, in our nation, and in our world. However there are evil people who do evil acts to harm others because of their way of thinking. For centuries there have been battles, wars, fighting for freedom. It grieves me that there is a huge price to pay for that freedom. Those who have lost loved ones know better that grief. They have lost children, lost parents, lost friends who died for the freedom I experience in the United States of America. How do I repay such a debt? But to ask you Heavenly Father to bless and comfort these families and to ensure them that their loss was not in vain, rather for the peace we experience everyday in our homes.

Bless the soldiers who are fighting in this war on terrisom this very day. I pray for our enemy that you would pierce their hearts and cause a change in their evil thinking. World peace is possible, it begins with each of us bowing to you Lord God in our home, then our community, then our nation, then the world.

"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land."
