I heard, but I did not understand. so I asked, 'My Lord, what will the outcome of all this be?'
He relplied, 'Go your way, Daniel, because the words are closed up and sealed until the time of the end. Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand.'
'As for you, go your way till the end. You will rest, and then at the end of the days you will rise to receive your allotted inheritance."
Knowledge I want to apply
to my life after reading Daniel
1. Trials & persecutions make very little sense to us when we experience them, but they can purify us if we are willing to learn from them.
2. God gave us what we need to survive in this world, with its tribulations. Keep close to the Word and the Holy Spirit will lead us each and every day.
3. There will be a judgement day for all. But, there is an indescribable inheritance awaiting those who are faithful till the end.
4. Be like a star in this world, (not a movie star - whose fame is fleeting), but an eternal star, by being wise and leading many to God's righteousness. Radianting the light from our heavenly Father.
5. There always has been and always will be wicked, and evil people in this world. I need to keep my eyes FIXED on my God wh0 will protect me, guide me, and teach me His way each day as I yeild my life to Him alone. I have nothing to fear.
I love reading the faithful lives of God's
servants in the Old Testament.
These true stories have great meaning
in every generation past, present & future.
